When this stunt was done, David Blaine was in the process of surviving in a glass box suspended in mid-air near London's Tower Bridge for 44 days with no food. I decided to do him one better. In conjunctioned with WEBN's The Freak Show, I would spend 44 minutes in a cardboard box UNDER a bridge with no food, water, bathroom breaks, or hookers. Also, I threw in his last 3 stunts. He stood on top of a pole for 35 hours, I held my pole. He was entombed in a block of ice for 3 days, I had 3 ice cubes down my pants. He was buried alive under dirt, I talked dirty to passersby. Even though I bailed at 43:59, I still consider the stunt a success!

I was TOTALLY not cheating here. That's me in the box. It must be a look-alike peeing in the bushes, going to the vending machine, and drinking from a Taco Bell cup

I moved the box to the plaza next to Great American Ballpark to watch the Reds get spanked by the Cubs
After I got out of the box, an imitator tried to get WEBN to donate beer to him if he topped my stunt
